Hepatitis B Surface AB 

Description

The hepatitis B surface antibody test detects proteins called antibodies in response to the hepatitis B virus (HBV). The test is used to determine if you are immune to the virus after natural exposure or vaccination. The test should not be confused with either the hepatitis B surface antigen test or the hepatitis B core antibody test, both of which are used to determine if you have been infected with HBV.
